GLACIERS NATIONAL PARK - PATAGONIA

Together with the Iguazú Falls, the southern glaciers are “the must” in Argentina. The country has plenty of astonishing places, but these two ones combine spectacular nature with the bonus of reaching them easily (while other beautiful wonders are more remote).

El Calafate is the support town with accommodation and main services. That is the starting point for the visits to the glaciers located at Los Glaciares National Park, located 80 km far from El Calafate village.

The most famous glacier is Perito Moreno, which expands over the south side of the Argentino Lake waters, with a 5 km front and 60 metres high over the lake.

Other glaciers as Upsala and Onelli can also be visited but by boat.

MENDOZA - The Wine Region

Superb wines, refined tastings, gourmet cuisine and an imposing surrounding nature inviting to open air sports: that is Mendoza.

Mendoza wine production started at the beginning of the last century; in the last two decades investments of great magnitude have brought their wines to previously unknown levels of excellence.

Some wine cellars look like temples; constructions often ambitious, with high architectural design. Others instead have the boutique touch or the home traditional charm.
